We’re committed to the team effort behind H.R. 4190. Join us!

Our task is too large for any one organization to accomplish alone. However, there must be individuals and organizations willing to facilitate and lead the efforts. Pharmacists join those organizations they think are meeting their needs or representing them effectively. APhA not only leads on some issues, but actively supports other organizations when they may be the best positioned or hold the expertise to be the primary organization to lead. There are many great pharmacy organizations in the United States. We respect each of them and are proud to collaborate with them on many issues. I often share with pharmacists that they should support their local, state, and practice area associations, as well as APhA.

The efforts leading up to the introduction of H.R. 4190 were truly a team effort, and APhA has been careful to recognize that and to give credit where credit is due. We don’t claim to be leading the effort but are an active part of the leadership team—every organization in the coalition is a leader. Our leadership in this effort not only includes our staff’s time and expertise, but also includes our financial commitment of millions of dollars to get this across the goal line.

We hope our unwavering commitment to this initiative motivates you and other pharmacists to join us as active members, and be a leader in your own way. I promise we’ll make you proud and fulfilled!
