PharmacyLibrary is seriously cool

We can be exceedingly proud of one of APhA’s most expansive products yet—PharmacyLibrary.com, our pharmacy education and reference website. In 2010, we digitized our book publishing program and launched the original PharmacyLibrary. This January, we relaunched with significant enhancements.

There’s some seriously cool stuff on this site. For student pharmacists sweating the new NAPLEX, PharmacyLibrary’s NAPLEX review is a game-changer. The test isn’t getting any easier and this has exactly what you need to prepare! There’s an interactive exam feature that can be customized for your desired subject areas. There are over 3,000 questions covering all the disease states and federal pharmacy law on the exam. The module will help you assess your results and make recommendations from the reference library texts based on the areas where you could improve the most. Recommendations are tailored just for you.

For the faculty and preceptors at institutions subscribing to PharmacyLibrary, there are materials to enhance effective training of today’s students, including case studies with faculty-only answers, more than 250 active learning exercises for use in a variety of learning environments, and PowerPoint lectures and syllabi available for the textbooks.

Preceptor Central is a curriculum with more than 20 modules in four different educational tracks to help preceptors develop quality educational experiences for their student pharmacists, and to support consistent precepting across multiple experiential sites.

Want to update your individual or practice skills? Resources abound on PharmacyLibrary.com, and both institutional and individual subscriptions are available! PharmacyLibrary offers a comprehensive set of reference materials to keep you on top of the latest advancements in the field. One of our most popular texts, Handbook of Nonprescription Drugs: An Interactive Approach to Self-Care, now in its 18th edition, is updated monthly. Or use the NAPLEX review tools to see how your skills compare to today’s standards, and the recommended readings can help you keep current if necessary.

PharmacyLibrary is a big deal. I am so grateful to the many editors, writers, and partners who help us create and disseminate world-class content. And I’m proud of the APhA staff members who rebuilt the site from scratch over the last 10 months, and who continue to disrupt themselves to meet changing demands. PharmacyLibrary is a showcase for the products that make APhA the amazing resource it is for pharmacists across all practice settings, at all stages of your career.
