Last night, I joined the lobbyists from the steering committee of the Patient Access to Pharmacists’ Care Coalition (PAPCC) at a local watering hole to celebrate reaching the goal of 50 cosponsors for H.R. 4190. At least that’s what was scheduled a couple of weeks ago. However, by game time last night, we had actually reached the 70 cosponsor mark!  This is remarkable progress, and a real testament to the power of collaboration and the consummate skill of our Government Affairs team. Getting 70 bipartisan cosponsors in 4 months, in this political environment, is astounding!

Work continues with staffers on the Senate side to develop a bill. Our comments on the draft Senate bill are getting finalized by all coalition folks before submission.
