For those of you with an interest in the APhA headquarters building on the National Mall, I’d like to share a recent TV interview and accompanying article about plans to honor veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan in the future Education Center at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial is across the street from APhA, and between APhA and the Lincoln Memorial.

With a groundbreaking scheduled for November 2012, the Education Center will honor the men and women who served in all wars and will include and honor those who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our heartfelt thanks and respect go to those who have committed themselves to protecting us and our freedoms.

Jan Scruggs, President and Founder of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund and the one being interviewed, has become a good friend. I’ve chosen to support the cause personally.
