As you all know, our profession has faced widespread workforce challenges over the last few months. Last month, I told you about APhA’s efforts to respond to many of these problems. While we recognize the issues will not be solved overnight, we are driving to create long-term changes that genuinely make our profession better, and individual pharmacists more fulfilled. In the meantime, knowing that many benefit from close connections within the profession, we want to offer short-term relief for those of you who have been directly affected.

If you’ve been laid off or your work hours have been significantly reduced, we would like to offer you a complimentary APhA membership (non-members will receive a complimentary INFORMED membership for 6 months; current members meeting this criteria at renewal time will receive a complimentary 12-month membership).

We know this won’t immediately remedy your situation. However, we hope that it can give you one less thing to worry about during your time of transition. Whether you need CE to maintain your licensure or you’re just looking to network, find new opportunities, or pursue new skills, we hope this offer will make your personal situation a little less stressful.
