Congressman highlights pharmacists' contributions to health care

On Wednesday evening, a North Carolina television station interviewed Democratic Representative Heath Shuler about his views on health care reform. During the interview, Rep. Shuler described his district's “Asheville Project” as a model for the nation. You all should watch this interview. I encourage each of you to participate in the town halls being held around the country. Let's be a positive force to tell our Members of Congress how pharmacists can help solve the problems we're facing in primary care. Please let us know of your participation and the responses you receive by leaving a comment here or on Facebook, and/or e-mailing our Government Affairs staff at gvtaff@aphanet.org.
