Check it out: Former AARP policy expert blogs on MTM

As we pack up and head to Orlando for the APhA Annual Meeting, I received a nice note in my e-mail inbox from Lee Rucker, MSPH, former AARP policy expert and recipient of an APhA Honorary Membership in a few days. She pointed me to her March 24 blog post in Health Affairs, "March Madness: Medicare Part D’s Persistent Challenge And Opportunity." Health Affairs is an important policy forum that’s well read inside the Beltway and out.

You may recall her 2012 report on "Medicare Part D’s Medication Therapy Management: Shifting from Neutral to Drive." Lee does a nice job of pulling all the pieces together on how attention is growing on the benefits of getting pharmacists involved in care. Thanks to Lee for great work! I commend it to your reading.
