The recent U.S. Public Health Service report on expanded roles for pharmacists, supported by the U.S. Surgeon General, is required reading for pharmacists who care about the future of our profession. We've known for decades that pharmacists have more to offer patients than payers and policy makers have been willing to take advantage of. Now, we have new, influential voices supporting us too as letters from prominent physicians from both the public and private sectors are being made public.
