Big news! Today (Friday, July 31), we understand that Congressman Butterfield (D-NC) intends to offer MTM grant language as an amendment in the House Energy and Commerce Committee. He has asked for support. His proposed amendment will mirror Section 213 of the Senate HELP bill, except for small wording changes. We are working with our national pharmacy stakeholders to communicate our strong support to the health legislative assistants for members of the Energy and Commerce Committee. By the time you read this, the committee vote on the amendment may be complete. Keep your fingers crossed, or better, let your Member know you support the Butterfield amendment.
