The last few days, I've been attending the Tennessee Pharmacists Association Annual Convention. I've talked with pharmacists from all practice settings and students from six pharmacy schools. Among the schools, there's a healthy competitive spirit, yet just like their practitioner colleagues, there is a real spirit of collaboration. I commend the leadership in the state for working diligently to assure that each unique practice type feels comfortable at TPA's table. It is remarkable to see how folks are pulling together politically to assure pharmacy is as healthy as possible in the state. I offer a tip of the hat.
